Join the EMSEA Masterclass for an insightful session on inclusivity and accessibility in ocean-based activities.

This Masterclass builds further on one of the key topics from our annual conference in Zadar 2024: "Inclusive ocean literacy".

Accessing the ocean's joy, awe, and wonder can be challenging when barriers limit inclusivity. This discussion will explore what true inclusivity looks like in delivering ocean-based activities across Europe. Practical strategies for integrating accessibility into your work will be shared, ensuring that everyone can experience the sea's magic. Attendees will reflect on the obstacles individuals may face when accessing the ocean, while definitions of accessibility and inclusivity and the frameworks that support these essential principles will be examined.

Our members, Rada Pandeva from the Thalassophile Project and Freyja Thomson-Alberts from the Ocean Conservation Trust, will guide you through this inspirational session.
